Iowa Children’s Open Raises $144,100!
Benefiting University of Iowa Children’s Hospital and The Iowa Children’s Museum, the Iowa Children’s Open committee is proud to announce that the 10th anniversary 2015 Open raised $144,100, a record number! This is a great achievement and the committee is already looking forward to next year’s event! We can’t say thank you enough to our presenting sponsors RTL Equipment, PODS, Touchless Car Washes!
The Iowa Children’s Open tournament came about in 2010 when former Hawkeye and now retired placekicker for the San Diego Chargers, Nate Kaeding, and the CVB wanted to transform the Nate Kaeding Golf Tournament into an even bigger and more successful event. We are grateful to have Nate & Sam Kaeding and Kirk & Mary Ferentz as tournament hosts.
The proceeds raised from this event will continue to go to support both the University of Iowa Children’s Hospital and The Iowa Children’s Museum, two local organizations that have been collaborating together over the years to improve the quality of life for children and families.
On behalf of all the children and families served by the children’s hospital and children’s museum…we thank you!
